Il quadro che ne emerge non è incoraggiante: i giovani italiani, seppur capaci e meritevoli, a fatica riescono ad affermarsi professionalmente e ad emanciparsi in modo compiuto dalla propria famiglia prima dei quarant'anni. Né, data la fermezza con la quale la classe dirigente nostrana difende le posizioni acquisite, possono vantare una presenza significativa nelle posizioni di vertice della vita politica, economica e sociale del Paese.
